Here in Redlands

Well, it's been nearly a month since our last update, and quite a lot has happened. We arrived in Redlands, got our apartment, and both Lara and I have started jobs. I'm busy working with PHP on the MAF intranet, and Lara has a temp position in Human Resources at All Counties Courier. Our house has not yet sold, but at least we have a couple of offers now that are looking good.
We're greatly enjoying the sunshine and scenery of Redlands, California. It's a glorious 7-minute drive from our apartment to MAF, the last few minutes of which are spent driving between a clear view of the snow-capped mountains on one side and rural farmland on the other (complete with evil grazing vengeful cows). I went out for a walk at lunch today, and stepping out into 62-degree temperatures, blue skies, a light breeze, and mountains in the distance is truly a wonderful thing. I took some pictures with the camera on my phone; sadly, the mountains didn't come out as well as I had hoped:
We'll do our best to add some entries soon to finish up the account of our drive from Pittsburgh to Redlands. Unfortunately, our notes from the trip are on Lara's Palm Zire, and we still haven't found the adapter that will let us upload them. When we do, we'll be posting those in the News area, in case someone wants to read them (Hi Mom!).

Hi Marshall and Lara! I was just thinking about you two and wanted to find out the latest from your web site. Your trip out West sounded like much fun. It seems like your jobs are great and that you are quite content. I am happy for you. Can't wait to see those pictures. God Bless you both in this new endeavor.
