Quintessential Strong Bad

Today's Strong Bad e-mail had everything: mockery of spelling mistakes, lots of original cheesy music, a new "character" (Wagon Fulla Pancakes), the doom of The Paper foretold, references to Punch-Out, Rocky, and the Karate Kid -- all excellent. Hearing Homestar sing "You're the best around" just made my day.

I really feel that this week's email was (E.g.: one week after the 'quintessential' one), quite possibly, the funniest Strong Bad email ever. Better even than, dare I say, Trogdor!

I must agree that this week's e-mail was awesome...and with that ending, I'm really impatient for next week's! What will be the successor?

I'm betting that he get's either a cutting edge alienware system (or the like), or something like a Genuine Intel Pentium with MMX technology. If he gets the latter, he'll be able to play Doom2 and run Windows 98... maybe.

I can't really see him going to a GUI, given his comments about The Cheat's iMac ("Your computer has too much computer in it and not enough typewriter.") But maybe. Not sure what else he'd do. The DVD commentary for "interview" suggests he might get a 486 laptop called "Lappy" next...but then, that might just be a random joke. It would be amusing if it were one of those enormous "luggables" that Strong Bad would take everywhere with him and try to use as a laptop.

So did you get the DVD already?

No, not yet...I just saw the transcript on the wiki.
